NOTICE OF MSD FEASIBILITY STUDY RESULTS
The feasibility study required by state law before Millcreek’s City Council decides whether to leave the MSD has been completed. The study results were presented to the Council on April 24th.

Public meetings will be held at each of Millcreek’s four community councils during May, and a city-wide public hearing will be held on May 23rd at Wasatch Jr. High at 6:30 p.m. wherein the consultant will present the results of the study, and the public can become informed of the study, including specific statutory requirements, and ask questions.
The meetings will be held as follows:
Millcreek Community Council, Millcreek Activity Center (old Hillview School) 1025 East 4405 South, Tuesday, May 2nd, 6:30 p.m.
Canyon Rim Citizens Community Council, Christ United Methodist Church, 2375 East 3300 South, Wednesday, May 3rd, 7:00 p.m.
East Mill Creek Community Council, East Millcreek Recreation Center, 2266 E. Evergreen Ave., Thursday, May 4th, 6:30 p.m.
Mt. Olympus Community Council, Churchill Jr. High, 3450 Oakview Drive, Tuesday, May 16, 7:00 p.m.
City-wide public hearing, Wasatch Jr. High, 3750 South 3100 East, Tuesday, May 23rd, 6:30 p.m.
The City Council will then decide at its regular meeting on Tuesday, May 30th, at 7:00 p.m., whether to leave the MSD.
NOTICE OF STUDY
Millcreek has conducted a study pursuant to Utah Code Section 10-8-2 for the purpose of making appropriations to the Mt. Olympus Community Council of $3,000; to the Canyon Rim Community Council of $5,000; to the East Millcreek Community Council of $5,000; and to the Millcreek Community Council of $15,000. The results of the study can be found here. The City Council will hold a hearing on May 1, 2017 to consider a resolution appropriating the funds.
NOTICE OF ELECTIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Millcreek will hold a non-partisan municipal general election on November 7, 2017, to elect two (2) City Council positions to serve four-year terms. City Council positions will be elected from Council District 2 and Council District 4. Candidate filing period begins June 1, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (excluding Saturday and Sunday) and ends on June 7, 2017. Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nomination Petitions must be filed in person with the City Recorder at 3932 South 500 East Millcreek City, UT 84107 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The recorder can be contacted by telephone on those days during those hours at 801-214-2706.
